“Dr Rosen was awesome! I had seen so many dentists in the past and she was the best one by far. I had a root canal and crown placed and it was entirely painless. She is super gentle and the whole time I was nervous about the procedure but she made me really relaxed and eased my anxiety. Definitely recommend her 10/10 for any dental work! ”

About Dr. Amanda Rosen
Dr. Amanda Rosen is an associate dentist practicing in Avalon Dental in Bayside Queens. Raised in Orange County, NY, Dr. Rosen moved to NYC to pursue her education and has called it home ever since. After working as an EMT and exploring various medical fields, she discovered her passion for dentistry at NYU College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Following dental school, Dr. Rosen completed a general practice residency at Queens Hospital Center, where she treated patients with complex medical and dental needs across all ages. Fluent in both English and Spanish, she credits her language skills to her Spanish-speaking grandmother, with whom she lived during her undergraduate studies. Dr. Rosen prioritizes patient comfort, taking the time to listen and clearly explain procedures.
Her compassionate approach and warm demeanor create a welcoming environment for everyone who visits her at Avalon Dental. During her free time, Dr. Rosen enjoys being outdoors, whether hiking, traveling, or exploring new places with her husband and their dog, Cooper.

Dr Rosen was awesome! I had seen so many dentists in the past and she was the best one by far. I had a root canal and crown placed and it was entirely painless. I was looking for a new dentist for my crown and was recommended by my friend. Office is clean . Everyone was very kind and professional, and took the time explaining everything. I would suggest everyone that does not like going to see the dentist to see Dr Rosen.She is the nicest!

Dr Rosen and Avalon Team are truly the best. I had a dental emergency and had to fly out of the country. My tooth broke and she did a wonderful job doing a same day root canal and same day temporary crown before I flew out. I was expecting pain and there was no post op pain at all. I felt no pain after the root canal and the temporary crown held up until I came back for her to finish the work. In regards to billing, Dr Rosen and her team were transparent with their billing and got my exact refund back for prepaying work at their office! Highly recommend Dr Rosen!!!!

It was a pleasure being seen by Dr. Rosen! She made me feel very comfortable during my appointment. She is clearly very knowledgeable. Both her care and her communication were very thorough. Highly recommend!

Dr Rosen and her team are top notch. I booked with them and was instantly seen that same day. Their team sent me a personalized text message to confirm their appointment and to fill out the new patient forms. Everything about the process was very seamless. Anyway I had a front filling that chipped and Dr Rosen did a splendid job fixing the broken filling. Highly recommend her!!!!

I was always a nervous patient and Dr Rosen and Avalon Dental team did an amazing job calming me down. I was also impressed with her work. I was brave enough to let her re-do two crowns on my front teeth and she went above and beyond and got the shade to match and made sure that it looked very natural. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER!!!!!

I had the pleasure of having Dr. Rosen as my dentist! She was friendly, greeted me with a smile and answered all my questions prior to starting my exam and cleaning. She was very attentive and took her time to get to know me and complete a thorough job. I received 10/10 service and highly recommend her for all your dental needs!

Dr. Rosen is genuinely the best dentist I have been to. She goes over the treatment plan before starting so you know what will be done, and she explains everything as she is doing it so there are no surprises. Dr. Rosen has amazing bedside manner and is so gentle with her care! I would definitely recommend her to anyone!
