About Dr. Ami Joshi
Growing up, dentistry was more than just a profession for me—it was a family tradition. My mom, an oral surgeon, and my dad, a general dentist, created a nurturing environment where my brother and I thrived. My parents' dental office was our playground, where patients and staff became extended family.
The joy of seeing patients leave with smiles on their faces inspired me to pursue a career in dentistry. Today, I’m pursuing my dream of opening a dental practice where patients and coworkers feel like family, just as I experienced in my childhood.
Since 2017, I've had the privilege of working in various clinics, including community health centers and reservation clinics. My extensive experiences across the DFW area have shaped my approach to dentistry, emphasizing compassion and understanding. Whether it's treating kids or adults, I cherish the opportunity to make a positive impact on my patients' lives everyday.

I have always had a wonderful experience at Mylo Dental Studio and with Dr. Joshi. She always makes me feel calm and cared for when getting dental work done which is greatly appreciated as I am someone with dental anxiety! She is very thorough and always ensures I am comfortable during appointments. The entire team is fantastic. Doctor and assistants were extremely rough and left me with bruised gums. Kept rudely instructing me to open my mouth wider when I was clearly in pain. The “cleaning” didn’t even clean my teeth. I left with plaque I could still feel on my teeth and it just felt like I brushed them normally. I won’t be going back.

I really enjoyed my new patient visit at Mylo Dental. All the staff were welcoming, warm, and helpful.
Dr. Joshi was professional, very friendly, and helped me feel prepared and positive about my treatment plan.
I was offered a blanket during my cleaning service due to it being a little cold in the room. I thought this was such a kind and thoughtful touch along with the TVs in each room with the patient’s choice of streaming options. It all made for a really pleasant experience.
Looking forward to my next visit!

I recently had my first dental visit in years, and the entire experience was smooth, professional, and welcoming. From the moment I walked in, Alba at the front desk made me feel comfortable and was incredibly personable. Ciara, the assistant, was patient and professional while taking my X-rays, ensuring everything went seamlessly. Finally, Dr. Joshi was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly.
The experience was excellent from start to finish, and I’m so glad to have found my new dental office in Dallas. I highly recommend this practice to anyone who may be on the fence you’ll be in great hands!

I’ve been to Mylo Dental Studio a few times now, and each visit has been nothing short of exceptional. My first appointment was for all four wisdom teeth extractions — and believe it or not, it was a great experience. Everything went smoothly, and I felt zero pain. That alone deserves a shoutout… someone give Dr. Joshi a gold medal!
Since then, I’ve returned for regular cleanings, and the level of care hasn’t changed a bit. From the incredibly sweet Amarie at the front desk to Dr. Ami Joshi herself, the entire team is so warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in your well-being. They listen carefully, make you feel comfortable, and tailor a treatment plan that fits both your current needs and future goals.
Dr. Joshi also recommended clear aligners to help perfect my smile — and with how things have gone so far, I’m seriously considering it.
Bonus: If you're lucky, you might get to meet the real boss — the adorable Mylo himself.
