Dr. Ami graduated from dental school at Boston University Goldman School of Dental Medicine and graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree. She followed her newly married husband, Dr. V, down to New Jersey and completed her General Practice Residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick.
Her Work Experience:
Since then she has worked in a private practice setting as a dental associate. Although she learned and grew tremendously, she was ready to take the next big step in her career. She leapt forward and decided to build a combined Family Medicine & Dentistry practice from ground up with Dr. V, a Family Physician, in their hometown, East Brunswick.
What makes her DIFFERENT from other Providers:
Dr. Ami has always enjoyed her career as a dentist. Not only because she loves the creativity, constant problem solving and beautiful artistic work she can provide for her patients, but above all, she loves the relationships and connections she is able to make with each of her patients whether they are newborns to 95 years old. If you decide to put your dental care into her hands, you will soon notice the amount of detail, care and information she provides to each of her patients to make their dental experience pleasant and fulfilling.
Her Personal Life:
Dr. Ami was raised in Tampa, Florida. She followed Dr. V to New Jersey. They have two beautiful kids that they love spending time with. Not only does she enjoy staying active within the community; Dr. Ami is driven to continually volunteer in dental mission trips around the world to give free care to those in need.

My experience during my first visit to the dentist was very good. There was a short wait, but once I was seen, she was extremely attentive. She completed the X-rays herself and provided an honest, thorough opinion. She referred me out appropriately and explained everything in a clear, easy-to-understand way.

It's clean, you feel welcomed and comfortable. You are informed on what they are going to do, they ask about your well being and what you want to do this visit. They stick to what you want and the hygienist was thorough and gentle the entire time. I've only been there for cleanings so I can only speak for that.

The appointment took way too long. My appointment time was 2pm for a routine check up and I didn’t leave until 1.5 hours later. After my cleaning was done, the doctor took extremely long time to come in the room to see me. Other than that, everything was fine but I would hope timing can be improved.
