About Dr. Anaheata Esmailzada

Dr. Anaheata Esmailzada, DDS (better known as Dr. Ana) left Afghanistan at the age of 16 to pursue her dream of becoming an American dentist. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the State University of New York, Stony Brook, in 2001, where she was also recognized in the Sigma Beta Honor Society and the Golden Key National Honor Society. In 2003, Dr. Ana completed her residency at Saint Joseph's Hospital in Paterson.
Her love of learning how to create healthy smiles continued as she expanded her commitment to educating patients about the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth through continuing education?completing 7,000 hours over four years! Dr. Ana loves to remind her patients, ?A body is not healthy if it doesn't start with a healthy smile!?
Today, Dr. Anaheata Esmailzada is recognized as a top dentist in the Leading Physicians of the World and for Excellence in Geriatric Treatment, AEGD.
When Dr. Ana is not creating healthy smiles, you can find her spending quality time with her husband and wonderful two children. She strongly believes in culture and reminds her children each day of the importance of following their dreams and never giving up, as she did. I brought a book, assuming there would be a wait time but I got in right away. I was able to submit any information ahead of time so that I didn't have a lot to prepare once I arrived. The doctor was easy to understand and friendly and I am glad I found her.

Montville Smiles is a prime example of quality health care. I am so thankful I found this office, Dr. Esmailzada and her team went above and beyond to make sure I was ok, I will recommend everyone to this practice moving forward.

Before I came in, there was a rather complicated insurance issue, but the person at the front desk (who happens to be Dr. Esmailzada's husband) completely took care of it for me. I don't think any doctor's office has EVER done that. He and the doctor herself were very kind.
Dr. Esmailzada was quite knowledgeable, and recommended several things I could do to improve my teeth and gums, which have always been sensitive. Apparently, the office even offers free whitening treatments if you show up for your six-month checkups regularly!

I cracked a tooth and the office was able to accommodate me as a new patient last minute. I did however have to call to confirm my ZocDoc appointment was received, and apparently it wasn’t, but they were still able to take me in despite my ZocDoc appointment time not being available anymore. That minor inconvenience became a situation that didn’t even matter compared to the quality of care I received at this office. I’m very thankful for Dr. An and her team.

cleaning was fine, bedside manner was good. Just super duper annoyed that they told me something was covered by my insurance and it wasn't. Don't trust them unless you see a firm printout or confirm that procedure is covered. I am not a fan of surprise bills or lies that it is covered when i specifically asked before fluoride application.

Although I have only met her once so far, I am impressed with Dr Esmalizada. The office fit me in quickly, they were up-front with me regarding insurance issues, the office manager was readily reachable by phone. Parking was ample, the office was tidy, and I didn't have to wait at all (!). Dr Esmalizada took her time evaluating me, was honest about what the best long-term solution would be for my issue, and she was very patient with me asking a lot of questions about the treatment plan. She made sure I was comfortable while she was treating me, and she has a very calming bedside manner. They also have some form of Saturday hours, which is helpful for me given my schedule as a healthcare worker. Even though this office is a bit of a drive for me, I still plan to continue going here because I felt like I could trust this dentist and her office.

I have been going to Dr. Ana for quit some years and must I say I will never leave her. Dr. Ana is not only an amazing Dentist she is an outstanding human being and the staff behind her are beyond remarkable starting from office manager Mr. Dawood to her dental nurse Ali.
I have recommended my whole family and friends to Dr. Ana and they all say the same. They definitely deserve the ICARE award ?? on my behalf. Not to mention clean & modern facility. I give Dr. Ana a two thumbs up!!!! ???? ????
