About Dr. Anamaria Castillo

Dr. Anamaria Castillo received her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated with the highest honors and was recognized for her clinical and academic achievements by receiving the Dean’s Award for Exemplary Patient Care. Dr. Castillo pursued her specialty training in Periodontics and Implant Surgery and her Master of Science in Oral Biology and Pathology at Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. During her residency, she conducted clinical research for Colgate-Palmolive, where she evaluated the effects of chronobiology on various oral health parameters. Dr. Castillo is a board-certified periodontist and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She maintains active memberships in the American Academy of Periodontology, the International Team for Implantology, the Northeastern Society of Periodontists and the New York County Dental Society. She strives to provide patient-centered, comprehensive care through a minimally invasive treatment approach.
