About Dr. Andrew Cummings
Dr. Andrew Cummings was born in Denver but raised on the Gulf Coast of Florida. He first became interested in dentistry at a young age after getting braces in middle school. As his smile transformed, he learned firsthand the impact a great smile can provide. He strives to provide a similar transformative experience for his patients and ensure each patient leaves his office happier than when they came in.
Dr. Cummings attended the University of Central Florida, where he earned degrees in both Finance and Microbiology. While at UCF, he was an active member of the Alpha Tau Omega leadership fraternity. Between his undergraduate and dental school careers, Dr. Cummings worked with an organ donation company alongside researchers, engineers, and doctors to advance medicine. This experience allowed him to travel extensively across the country and Europe. He then attended dental school at the University of the Pacific in beautiful San Francisco, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Cummings graduated with awards for leadership and aesthetic dentistry. During dental school, he served as both President and Vice President of his school's American Student Dental Association, leading his team to receive national award-winning recognition.
Outside of the office, Dr. Cummings enjoys golf, health and fitness, riding his motorcycle, cooking, and traveling.

Dr. Cumming was the first doctor to show me pictures of my teeth before, during and after a procedure. And I’ve been to 20+ dentists in my life.

Really quick appointment and friendly staff. I hadn’t been to the dentist since before COVID and felt very safe. Was in and out in about an hour, and my insurance was accepted.

Very long wait time in chair with minimal dentist time. I waited for at least 30 min in the chair and when the dentist came. He was prepared to spend 2 min with me suggesting i get a cleaning and wait & see about my pain. I would not have minded waiting that long if he had been briefed before coming in. I was VERY detailed in My appointment request and with the hygienist but it felt like he didn’t have time to review either. The screen to review my x-Ray wasn’t working so 2 hygenists had to come in and help

I never write reviews but I feel so indebted to the wonderful staff and experience I had here that I owe it to them. First and foremost the availability they had is so flexible and welcoming they knew that if my tooth became an emergency they would try to fit me in even if they were booked that gave me peace of mind. Secondly, without insurance the price including an x-ray was very affordable even as a college student. In addition its a fast process, my wait time was a couple minutes and being treated was less than an hour. The staff is excellent and the DR. is so respectful while I know the whole medical industry should be more like this they still outshine and exceed expectations. Totally recommend this place I almost want to gate-keep this!

Next time I will call the office to make a new patient appointment. I was under the impression that as a new patient I would receive full x-rays, cleaning, and exam but instead only received partial x-rays and an evaluation of where I was experiencing tooth pain. The visit only took 30 minutes, which was a bit alarming for a new patient visit especially since I had cleared my work schedule anticipating a long doctors appointment. I recommend establishing clearer expectations from Zocdoc and the doctors office; otherwise, lesson learned.
