About Dr. Andrew Frangella
Dr. Andrew Frangella is a General Dentist with a special focus in Cosmetic Dentistry and Oral Implantology. With extensive training in many aspects of dentistry, his field of practice includes a multi-disciplinary approach. Under Dr. Andrew Frangella's care, there are no limitations to achieving excellent, long-term results.
Dr. Andrew Frangella is a graduate of New York University College of Dentistry. He was awarded Fellowship from the Academy of General Dentistry, a significant distinction amongst his peers. Dr. Frangella also has completed Fellowships in Oral Implantology at the world renowned Misch Institute in association with Temple University, and with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is certified in Invisalign as a Preferred Provider.
Dr. Andrew Frangella received the 2005 Robert A. Sussman Memorial Award, presented to doctors who have demonstrated clinical excellence in operative dentistry and humanitarian values in patient care. In 2011, he was recognized by the Consumers’ Research Council of America as one of “America’s Top Dentists.”
He is an active member of the Give Back a Smile program, involved with the American Cancer Society, and a volunteer with the Special Olympics. With compassion and skill, Dr. Frangella provides comprehensive dental care and creates lasting relationships with his patients.

Everything is great, Dr. Frangella is extremely friendly and knowledgable and the staff are warm and happy to help. He even checked out my Jaw muscle even though it might not have anything to do with my teeth. They make the dental visit a great experience. Highly recommended!

Took me right away- super efficient as they have you fill out the forms in advanced so you immediately start your appointment. The dentist was friendly and explained every procedure to me. The examination was thorough and pleasant, and they gave an electronic toothbrush! Highly recommend this dentist.

Doctor is good, however admin and billing team is not. They are considered as out-of-network to our insurance but at the visit they said that they are in-network. We had to make a co-pay. Called the insurance, and insurance sent another check to cover our co-pay. After a few weeks, the doctor's office sent us a check with an amount of 7% of the total co-pay. Called doctor's office again and was told to wait for another 2 days. Not happy with the process and hope it can be resolved soon.

I just moved to New York and so needed a new dentist after being happy with my previous one for 11 years. Picking new healthcare providers is always a stressful part of moving, and I have a history of selecting bad dentists so I was inherently nervous - would they claim new conditions and treatments I didn't need? Would it be old and dated inside? Would I wait long? The answer is no to all. I was blown away by this practice! The interior is really modern, they had an extremely comfortable dentist chair, and there's a big screen to display your X-rays. Julie, my hygienist, was probably the kindest and most knowledgeable hygienist I've ever had and Dr. Andrew was fantastic. I will be sending my husband here and can't recommend them enough.

Dr. Frangella is amazing! My experience of the dental exam, cleaning and a filling treatment was very positive! The office is clean and organized, I was seen right away, the doctor and the staff are very friendly, caring and most importantly very knowledgeable and thorough. They explain everything they are doing, even during the cleaning and you can see all the images of your teeth on the screen right in front of you. They go over everything they see in the images as well. And I got a free electric toothbrush too! Honestly, so happy with this dental office and Dr. Frangella and highly recommend him!

The staff is not only welcoming, but professional and attentive. Dr. Frangella is by far the best dentist I have ever had. A professional with a great sume of knowledge and skill set that comes through in his attentiveness, patience, and great charismatic personality. He walks you through the procedure, listens to questions and gives clear and in depth answers.

This was my first visit to Dr. Andrew Frangella after being referred by a friend, and it was by far the best, most thorough dental appointment I have ever had. Because it was my first visit, I had a full set of X-Rays done and Dr. Frangella took the time to talk me through the X-Rays and what he was looking for. Then he did my cleaning and dictated records of what he was seeing for the Dental Hygienist to establish my base line. He was friendly and kind and the Hygienist was so nice and personable and put me at ease. It was a great visit and I will definitely go back and highly recommend

Dr. Frangella and the hygienist were amazing as always! I received a detail cleaning and helpful answers to a couple questions. They also have a great new office that is right off the subway. Also, while I was there they took in someone for a walk in emergency appointment even though it was 5pm on a Friday, very nice! Definitely recommend!

Dr.Andrew Frangella Is my dentist for already 3 years.I highly recommend him to anyone.He is very professional,knowledgeable and honest about ones dental treatment plan and what makes him exceptional is that he would never try to sell you anything you don't need.
I had few other dentists before him who tried to push me to invest 60K for full mouth veneers.I feel very lucky he was recommended to me.Trust him 100% and now the funniest is that tree generations of my family go to him from my 5 years old daughter to my 72 years old mom,husband too.
Don't have any desire to go to anybody else.I found the best dentist!

I never even have a chance to sit down in the waiting room for my lunch time appointments! And once in the chair - the action starts, no down time. Dr. Frangella has a light touch - and I know since he humored me and drilled my most recent filling with no novicane. The receptionists are responsive and rescheduling is always easy.
