About Dr. Andrew Rund

Dr. Rund’s passion for dentistry was sparked when he was 13 years old. He remembers being self-conscious about his smile due to misaligned teeth. After going through 2.5 years of orthodontics, he learned at a young age how having a confident smile can impact one’s life. Dr. Rund desires to give his patients the confidence they deserve through a smile they love. Dr. Rund grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, where he learned the power of work ethic from his three siblings and parents. He competed in several sports but found his love of football in the 8th grade. Dr. Rund went on to be a three-year starting quarterback and team captain, breaking numerous school records at Quincy University. Through his football experience, he learned the importance of leadership, communication, and teamwork. He loves that dentistry allows him to be part of a team where he can use the skills he learned through football. Dr. Rund earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UMKC School of Dentistry, where he also completed advanced training in restorative dentistry. This education has equipped him with the expertise to provide comprehensive, high-quality dental care to his patients.
