About Dr. Andrii Shportko

*Please note I am an orthodontist and NOT a general dentist.* Dr. Andrii is a graduate of Midwestern University Dental College in Arizona, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. While there, he developed an interest in orthodontics and completed an additional two years of coursework in this specialty. He has also completed certification instruction as an Invisalign provider with Align Technology. Continuing his post-graduate studies at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, Dr. Andrii focused on general dentistry and used that time to enhance his skills and expertise in oral surgery. He completed his orthodontic residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, serving as chief resident at BronxCare Hospital in the Bronx. Dr. Andrii began his career serving the underserved. By providing orthodontic care in remote areas of New York, he gained firsthand understanding of the challenges patients face in finding affordable orthodontic treatment. Helping families in the Bronx, Queens, and Westchester areas, Dr. Andrii formed the dream that has become Big Little Smiles. As your dedicated Stamford orthodontist, Dr. Andrii focuses on what you want and how to get you there in a timely manner. In his effort to make orthodontic care available and affordable, he opened The Smiles Doctor in Stamford, CT.
