She completed her three-year orthodontic residency at the University of Illinois Chicago College of Dentistry, earning both a Master of Science in Oral Sciences and a Certificate in Orthodontics. During her residency, her research on accelerated tooth movement received the prestigious 2018 AAO Thomas Graber Research Award. Dedicated to providing exceptional orthodontic care, Dr. Lu stays at the forefront of the specialty through continuing education and the latest advancements in orthodontic technology and treatment techniques. She remains actively involved with the University of Illinois Chicago and is a member of the American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, and Midwestern Society of Orthodontists.
