“I, at the big age of 22, have an extreme fear of the dentist that has led to me avoiding them for 5 years. I cracked a tooth and told her exactly what one was the problem, she was respectful kind, and an amazing listener. She talked me through everything she was doing and booked me a follow up with a specialist who can take care of the problem I was having, as well as made me feel comfortable enough to return for the rest of the work I need to done for my teeth. I didn’t feel judged or shamed at all for the roughy state of my teeth, or for being anxious about being there.”

About Dr. Anna McDevitt
Dr. Anna McDevitt, DDS, was born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate education at Clemson University with honors, earning a degree in Biological Sciences. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry, where she excelled both academically and clinically by managing complex cases.
Dr. McDevitt enjoys all aspects of clinical dentistry, always putting patient care first to ensure an exceptional experience and outstanding results. Her empathetic style fosters positive relationships and helps put patients at ease as she delivers high-quality, compassionate care in a comfortable setting. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Women Dentists, the Illinois Academy of General Dentistry, and the Chicago Dental Society.
Outside of work, Dr. McDevitt enjoys spending time on Lake Michigan participating in various water sports. She also loves trying new restaurants in town, staying active, reading, and spending time with her dog, friends, and family.

They couldn’t help me at all unless I get their treatment plan even though it was kind of an emergency, my crown is loose and they didn’t want to do anything because they have to change it for a new one and the doctor told me that she didn’t have time to fix my situation so I don’t think I would recommend this place I was expecting at least to get it fixed while I schedule a new appointment to get a new crown so I’m not convinced to get it on this place

I had a great visit at this office, and was quickly seen and treated. I had broken my tooth a few days prior and need to quickly get in to fix it before the weekend. I was able to get an appointment the next day, and was seen and my tooth was fixed in less than an hour! Everyone was nice and communicated all throughout the process.

I would describe the experience as awful. They upsell you on everything, and if you don’t follow their upsell recommendation, you are not welcome, and your appointment is over.
The arrogance of the dentist was laughable. She did not listen.
My advice-realize that dentists are a BIG business, one which I didn’t realize. Find local small dentist versus these large “corporate” type environments. Likely will get better service.

My experience here, with this wonderful dentist was amazing! I hadn’t been to the dentist in a few years so naturally, I was a little nervous, but she and her dental assistant eased my worries very quickly by listening to everything I was saying, understanding, and ? providing me with the best dental care I’ve received in my life. I felt so it is, and was even given a detailed dental plan for my goals, and what that would look like, as far as appointments and specific hair throughout the year. Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend!!

She was kind and completed the cleaning quickly. Unfortunately they did a more surface level cleaning, my gums weren’t sore at all afterwards like they usually are. I was also interested in a cosmetic treatment but they tried pushing wisdom teeth removal even though those are fine right now. Overall a good visit but if you want something you really have to advocate and push for it.

I had a great experience, I needed to find a new dentist after seeing the same one for a decade and was so happy with Dr. McDevitt. She is kind, professional, and made me feel so comfortable. I had a cleaning and was also able to get a filling the same day which was very convenient. My experience was quick and painless. Dr. McDevitt and the entire staff did a great job!
