About Dr. Anna Melissa Concepcion
Dr. Anna Melissa Concepcion grew up in the small, tight-knit, and supportive Appalachian community of Norton, Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001 and earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston in 2006. During her dental education, she completed an externship at Holyoke Health Center, gaining valuable clinical experience.
As an undergraduate, Dr. Concepcion volunteered weekly at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in the outpatient cancer center. While at Tufts, she continued her volunteering with Project CORRECT, which aims to educate special needs patients on the importance of good oral health.
Dr. Concepcion is a member of the American Association of Women Dentists and participates in study groups with her peers. She stays current on the latest advances in dentistry by attending continuing education courses.
Currently residing in Manhattan, Dr. Concepcion appreciates the energy, drive, and possibilities this magnificent city has to offer. As an avid world traveler, she has delighted in visiting such destinations as Machu Picchu and the pyramids of Egypt.

Dr. Concepcion, her hygienist, and her receptionist, all provided a great experience for me. As a result, she will be my dentist for the foreseeable future and I will recommend her to others.

The worst dental service that I have ever received for filling. Came in with part of the tooth chipped. Anna gave me a lot of anesthesia and never waited for the it kicked in and operated right away. The worst thing is that the filling is not even complete. She left half of the filling open. I had to go to a different dental office to get it completely removed and redo the filling. Then three weeks later, she is charging extra 49 dollar for the consultation fee. This place is a scam. Do not go!!!

Dr.Conception is the best. She is patient and caring. I even looked into doing the Invisalign and she recommended to put a pin to it until my wedding to preserve esthetics. A true doctor that cares about its patients!
