About Dr. Anum Zaidi

Dr. Zaidi is a proud Maryland native and completed her DDS degree at the first dental college in the world, University of Maryland School of Dentistry. She was one of the few nominated to participate in the Implant clerkship in her final year of dental school, which provided in-depth training on dental implants. After dental school, Dr. Zaidi was selected as a resident in one of the most competitive and comprehensive general dentistry residencies in the nation — the Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the Orlando VA Medical Center. At her residency, Dr. Zaidi received advanced training in surgical procedures in Periodontics, Oral Surgery and full mouth rehabilitation cases, which allowed her to hone her surgical and restorative skills and offer a wide range of services to her patients. For Dr. Zaidi, continuing education is a necessity. She's constantly taking CE courses to keep up in the ever-evolving field of medicine and provide her patients with the most up-to-date dental practices. Her modern office boasts the latest technology and dental materials so patients get the best care possible. Dr. Zaidi loves to give back to the community and help those most in need. In the past, she has worked with Latino and veteran communities. During high school, Dr. Zaidi shadowed at various dental offices and realized that there is a severe shortage of healthcare professionals in Maryland who can fluently communicate with Spanish speaking patients. This barrier to healthcare motivated her to learn Spanish and help an underserved community receive the dental care they deserve. Dr. Zaidi is now happy to welcome patients from all backgrounds and walks of life to her Clarksburg, Maryland practice. When she’s not in the office, she’s spending time with her husband Chris and their mini goldendoodle puppy Kona. She also loves traveling and trying different cuisines.
