About Dr. Arnold Nakazato

Dr. Nakazato is a local, born and raised in the East Bay. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Columbia University. He then completed a pediatric dental residency at UCSF. His journey into dentistry began during high school when he started helping out at a family friend’s dental practice. Over the past 20 years, Dr. Nakazato has encouraged children to take pride in their oral health while creating positive and memorable experiences during dental visits. He is an active member of several dental associations including the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Berkeley Dental Society, California Society of Pediatric Dentistry, College of Diplomates of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife and two daughters, playing tennis, and skiing at Palisades Tahoe.
