Dr. Greyf graduated from the Bachelor of Arts to Doctorate of Dental Surgery program at New York University College of Dentistry in 1996. He completed this accelerated program, which normally takes seven years, in six. Following dental school, Dr. Greyf undertook a rigorous general practice residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York. It was during his residency, in 1996, that he placed his first dental implant and became fascinated by the technology, science, and artistry of the procedure. After completion of his residency, Dr. Greyf was offered and accepted an attending position in Kings County Hospital Center and an associate clinical professorship at Downstate Medical Center. In the latter position, he trained residents for five years. In 2002 he moved to Manhattan and joined the staff at Metropolitan Hospital Center. There he founded a laser dentistry program and was an early adopter of Biolase lasers. In 2000, Dr. Greyf opened his private practice in Millburn to offer top-of-the-line service in a modern dental practice.
