“I went in for a check up/ cleaning after I was taken right in I got my x-rays and cleaning after the cleaning was done they took photos and found an issue on my furthest moler and got in that same appointment and got it filled. Quick and efficient job 1 week later 0 issues or complaints with the work that was done. ”

About Dr. Arthur Scheiner
After practicing dentistry for over 30 years, Dr. Scheiner says that his favorite part of his job is being able to help people genuinely feel better both on the inside and outside. He loves seeing the smile on a patient’s face after completing a treatment that either stopped their pain or gave them beautiful teeth that they can’t wait to show off. He has already served many members of the Westfield community, and he’s eager to do the same for you! Before you have a chance to meet him, you can learn more about his background below.
As a child, Dr. Scheiner had significant orthodontic issues that needed to be corrected. Thankfully, he was able to get the treatment he needed, and he saw the difference his new smile made in his life, which piqued his interest in dentistry. He ultimately wanted to be able to help people just like his dentist did, and it’s what brought him to where he is today.
Dr. Scheiner received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia before enrolling in the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. After graduating from dental school, he began his general practice residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.
Since finishing school, Dr. Scheiner has earned certificates from the Synergy Training Program for Dental Implants and the Great Lakes Education Center for Training in Advanced Dental Technology. He has also trained so he can offer many innovative dental techniques, such as CEREC® same-day crowns, gum disease treatment, smile makeovers, and more. To this day, he still travels across the country so he can learn from the most accomplished and experienced dentists in the world.
When he isn’t working, Dr. Scheiner likes to primarily spend his free time with his wife, Jodi, and their three children (two daughters and a son), all of whom are currently in college. A big sports fan who likes to travel, he has attended three Super Bowls.
