He received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania School Of Dental Medicine in 1995. Then Dr. Araujo completed a 3-year graduate training in periodontics at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia where he received intense training in all phases of periodontal treatment and dental implant surgery.
Dr. Araujo has maintained a private practice limited to Periodontics and Dental Implants since 2001.
Dr. Araujo actively pursues ongoing continuing education to stay on the forefront of the latest trends in periodontics and dental implants.
Dr. Araujo is a member of the American Dental Association, American Academy of Periodontology, District of Columbia Dental Society, Maryland State Dental Association, and Hispanic Dental Association.
Dr. Araujo is married to his loving wife Tara, a Pediatric Occupational Therapist for Montgomery County Public Schools. Together they enjoy raising their two sons, Tyler and Caleb. In his free time he enjoys coaching soccer and running.
