About Dr. Jean Li
Dr. Jean Li was drawn to the dental industry by a drive to improve people’s health and the way they see themselves. When someone has a smile, they can be proud of; they radiate a new kind of self-confidence that makes them comfortable sharing it at every joyous moment. Dr. Li began her education at the University of Detroit Mercy, where she succeeded in receiving her DDS degree, but her ambitions didn’t end there.
Dr. Li would continue her education by moving on to Rutgers University in New Jersey. Here she would begin and complete her periodontics training, finally achieving her ambition of being a periodontal specialist. After years of study, Dr. Li is recognized as a respected periodontal specialist. She uses these skills to restore the health of her patient’s gums and provide implants that can turn any smile into a beautiful set of pearly whites.
Dr. Li’s dedication to her profession didn’t end there; she went on to go through the grueling process of not just becoming board-certified, but of achieving the position of Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. This achievement required additional training, education, and passing of exams that qualified her to carry the title. To maintain her Diplomate status, she undergoes a recertification every six years, guaranteeing she’s up to date with the latest in dental and periodontal practices.
