About Dr. Ximin Yang
Dr. Ximin Yang graduated with a D.D.S. degree in Shanghai Dental School in 1989. She practiced in Shanghai for 2 years with a focus on Endodontics. She then worked at Saga Medical School in Japan, researching immunotherapy in oral cancer.
Once in the United States, she attended the New Jersey Dental School where she worked in the Restoration Department for 3 years, furthering her pursuit of dental excellence. Dr. Yang then spent 3 years training and earning the specialist certificate of Periodontics in post graduate program in New Jersey Dental School.
Dr. Yang enjoys the many challenges in General Dentistry to Specific Periodontal treatment, implant placement, general and cosmetic restoration and endodontic treatment.

They hadn’t received a notice from Zocdoc about my appt. They are actually closed on Thurs. But the dentist arrived within 15 min and the appt proceeded.

I was treated immediately. The dentist and her assistant worked efficiently and effectively, and I was done very soon. My only reservation about the visit would be that I was charged a bit much for what seemed like a small amount of routine work.

My appointment was postponed, because the cap, which had been prepared during the previous visit and then ordered, had not yet arrived. It came an hour later, and I came at 11 am instead of 9 am.
Ximin Yang had another customer, so I was taken care of by her associate. All went well. At first the cap was a little too big, but the adjustment was made successfully.

I had a bit of food stuck in a gum. Ximin Yang took in out in the process of cleaning. Then an area on the other side of the mouth had to be numbed in preparation for a crown to keep the teeth there closer together to keep food from getting stuck there. This was all done efficiently with the aid of an assistant.
The prices here are higher than they used to be, perhaps because they now have an assistant, or because the dentists have been there a while and have established a good reputation. I think they are worth it.
