About Dr. Avani Parmar
Dr. Parmar graduated from the Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM) with her DMD and completed her Prosthodontics and AEGD Preceptorship Program from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). In addition, she has also graduated from D. Y. Patil Dental School in Mumbai, India with a BDS (Bachelor Dental Surgery). Dr. Parmar is a member of the American Dental Association and the California Dental Association. She has been passionately practicing family dentistry including Invisalign, endodontics, implant restorations and cosmetic dentistry in India, Pennsylvania and now in California.
As a child, Dr. Parmar experienced some congenital tooth abnormalities and knows firsthand how dental issues can affect confidence. She enjoys the experience of being able to provide immediate fulfillment with a healthy, beautiful smile. Dr. Parmar is certified in Invisalign and in Six Months Smile for orthodontic concerns. Following her desire to give back to the community, Dr. Parmar lived out this passion while in dental school where she worked with under-served populations. She spent 4 years giving smiles in Central Pennsylvania before locating to Southern California

I had an amazing experience at this dental office, from the moment I walked in, I felt completely safe and at ease. Dr. Avani Parmar took the time to explain everything thoroughly, making sure I understood my options and what was actually necessary. I really appreciated that she focused only on the teeth that truly needed work instead of trying to upsell unnecessary treatments like I’ve experienced elsewhere.
She and her assistant, Jenny, were both incredible—professional, kind, and genuinely caring throughout the entire visit. Their attention to detail and patient-centered approach made a huge difference in my assurance moving forward with treatment. The work they did on my teeth gave me my confidence back! I highly recommend this office to anyone looking for honest, high-quality dental care.

My experience was great. I came 10 minutes early to fill out the new patient paperwork. By the time I filled out the paperwork I was brought to the back for my appointment.
Dr. Parmar is outgoing and funny. I'd recommend her to anyone in the San Diego Area.
