Dr. Makki, graduated from University of Illinois at Chicago with his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, he served as class president, involved in many research projects and received an award of Appreciation from University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry for exceptional job performance and dedication to the Department of Orthodontics, Frances Best Matkins Award in recognition of outstanding leadership skills and academic excellence. He went on to further his dental education by accepting an orthodontic residency position at the Department of Orthodontics at University of Illinois at Chicago when he graduated with honor and received the best resident award. Dr. Makki is involved in organized dentistry and orthodontics and holds memberships with many associations, including: American Dental Association, American Association of Orthodontists, Illinois Society of Orthodontics and Chicago dental society. Dr. Makki in his free time he enjoys traveling, playing soccer, playing and composing music.
