About Dr. Azin Ghesmati-Kalurazi
She received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from New York University College of Dentistry.
Dr. Ghesmati has completed many advanced continuing education courses and has a vast amount of training and experience in complex restorative and reconstructive dentistry, implantology, endodontics, microsurgeries, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Ghesmati offers a comprehensive approach to dental health, intersecting beauty with function.
As someone who settles for nothing but the best, Dr. Ghesmati utilizes the most advanced technology being introduced in modern dentistry. This includes the Dental Microscope (providing microscope-enhanced dentistry), Cone Beam imagining, and the newest 3D printers and cameras in addition to a fully digitalized in-house lab, technologies for which she has spent hundreds of hours training all around the world.
Her background in engineering has provided her a distinct advantage in employing digital dentistry in every aspect of her practice. From general dentistry or complex treatment planning, to surgical, implant, or endodontic services, Dr. Ghesmati has a proven track record of dental expertise that her patients will attest to.
An avid watercolor painter, Dr. Ghesmati believes the more you understand and appreciate the art, the better you can develop, evaluate, and improve your own artwork. This understanding of art is being focused even more on her dental work.
Dr. Ghesmati also loves cooking, baking, and traveling, and she reads a lot. She likes to become a pastry chef in her own home kitchen (a hobby she is currently working on), and her dog’s name is Merlot!

Dr. Ghesmati has been fantastic. The entire experience was patient centered. She walked through each of my procedures in depth ahead of time so that I felt comfortable with what was being done, was constantly checking to make sure I was feeling well during the procedure, and spent time with me in follow up discussing next steps and follow up care. She was warm and welcoming and it has been a truly enjoyable experience overall.

They were efficient and friendly. I was a new patient so had to fill in even more forms (different from the zocdoc ones) and I had to wait a few minutes. The dentist was nice, made a good assessment of my teeth and scheduled relevant follow ups.

Dr. Azin Ghesmati-Kalurazi was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and my visit to the dentist was a pleasant and efficient experience. I had to return for a follow-up visit and Dr. Ghesmati saw me promptly the next day. During my procedure, Dr. Ghesmati made sure I was comfortable and aware of what was happening. Highly recommended.

Dr. Ghesmati made it an all-around wonderful experience--something I never thought I'd say about going to the dentist. She carefully explained everything she was going to do before she did it and constantly checked in to make sure I was okay. She's also super friendly--excellent bedside manner.

I am always VERY nervous going to the dentist because of terrible experiences in the past (that Dr. Ghesmati is now having to fix!). Dr. Ghesmati has a very kind bedside manner, is thorough, gentle, and always ensures that you understand your treatment plan. She is also great with following-up on you to see how you are feeling/healing. I believe she genuinely cares about her patients and their health, not just getting people through the door...a characteristic that is extremely hard to find! I am happy to have found her and she is slowly helping me gain back my trust and faith in dentists!

My visit to see Dr. Ghesmati has been and always is enjoyable. She is personable and welcoming and walks the patient through the entire process and dental procedure. She is quick to explain and share more in depth about her opinions on use of technology and her reasons for each step she takes. My visits are enjoyable because there is trust between patient and doctor.
