About Dr. Azin Tarifard
Dr. Azin Tarifard, is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist with over 15 years of experience in providing quality dental care for children from infancy to teen years as well as for children with special needs.
Her mission is to make every dental visit a positive, educational and stress-free experience for both children and parents.
Being able to make a positive impact on a child's life by introducing healthy habits and alleviating their fears is a privilege that she treasures as she believes the positive dental experience at a young age can have a long-lasting positive impact on the future oral care of each patient.
She was recognized as top pediatric dentist in Boston from 2017-2020, as acknowledged by her peers.
After graduating magna cum laude, Dr. Azin followed her parents' footsteps, and pursued her career in dentistry. She received her DDS degree in 2006 from University of the Pacific in San Francisco, California. She continued for an extra year of residency for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD). After 4 years of working as a general dentist, she followed her passion for treating children and entered a rigorous three-year Pediatric Dentistry program at Tufts School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, through which she also earned her Masters of Science in Dentistry.
To keep up to date with the ever-changing world of dentistry and to provide the best dental care to her patients, Dr. Azin continues completing many continuing education programs every year.
When she's not creating amazing smiles in the office, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, family and friends in the beautiful state of New York.
Outside of work, you can often find her immersed in her favorite activities. She loves to play the piano, exploring the outdoors through sports and activities.
