Bella Pinkatz, DDS, earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Pinkatz opened Kew Gardens Dental in August 2008 and has been providing the community with excellent dental care ever since. She is one of the few dental professionals in her area to offer Oral Cancer Screenings at her office.
Dr. Pinkatz's enthusiastic personality and kind manner are a perfect complement to any patient's needs. She is not only a highly skilled professional but also has a contagious smile that truly exemplifies Kew Gardens Dental! Dr Pinkatz shows disregard for her patients, after waiting for over an hour in pain she proceeded to "see me" just to tell me she couldn't do anything and sent me to another dentist which was closed. My friend went through something similar with her so this is not a one time thing. I'll look for another dentist.

Went in to get a wisdom tooth taken out due to severe pain but they only offered teeth cleaning. Although I am certain I have at least 1-2 cavities, the dentist would not fill those teeth. And even though I only had 1 wisdom tooth ever grow, they tried to demand I have all taken out.

It was my first appointment with the doctor.
I had to wait for 1.25 hours before I was seen by the hygienist. The hygienist was very nice and did the X-rays and cleaning.
The doctor who was very obnoxious did a one minute exam, mumbled a few words and was gone. I only went there because of the insurance I have. If you have other options, try them.

Dr. Pinkatz and her staff were very professional and had great bedside manners. My husband and I went in for a basic cleaning, dental exam and x-Rays. The process was quick, painless and easy. The office is open on Sundays which is great for our schedule. I went ahead and booked an appointment for my 3 year old daughter's first visit. The only downside was the wait time but it may have been due to a couple of patients who did not have a scheduled appointment and needed prescriptions, etc. I will definitely recommend Dr. Pinkatz to others.

On my last visit I had my teeth cleaned by the hygienist. She is nice, however I feel like every time I go I am being upsold on a new cleaning or service. She was also a bit condescending.

The dentist was pleasant but it was uncomfortable having 2 additional dental chairs lined up next to me, in plainview. The dental chairs were not in a closed room (looked more like a hallway) which is strange. Looks unprofessional.

My first appointment was a bit disappointing because I wasn't introduced to the doctor until my second visit to the office. The hygienist, dental assistant and receptionist are all very well mannered and attentive.
