About Dr. Bisma Sohail
Dr. Bisma Sohail is a native New Yorker and has honed her experience and skill in all aspects of General and Cosmetic Dentistry over the past 10 years. She practices at Park Avenue Comprehensive Dentistry, located in the beautiful Helmsey Building.
She was educated in NYC at Stuyvesant High School and attended New York University for her undergraduate degree. For her Doctorate of Dental Medicine, she graduated magna cum laude from Boston Univeristy Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Sohail followed with a General Practice Residency in the highly competitive program at Newark Beth Israel Hospital in 2009.
Dr. Sohail believes in listening to her patient’s concerns and treating them in the gentlest way possible. She offers the most technologically advanced treatments for maximum comfort and personalized care. She wants you to have the best experience when you visit.
Dr. Sohail chose dentistry because of her passion for both science and art. She has a friendly and caring personality and loves to cook, paint and try new foods with her husband and friends.

Dr. Sohail is the best. She makes every encounter so pleasant. Genuinely one of the kindest, empathetic doctors I've ever interacted with. Dr. Sohail is absolutely amazing! I was nervous to try out a new dentist, as I had been seeing the same dentist since age five. Dr. Sohail was incredibly kind, professional, and thorough. I appreciated that she took some time to just chat with me and get to know me, which made me more comfortable. She cleaned my teeth very well! (And the office also took impressions so that I could get a new night guard to help with my jaw clenching/grinding.)

Thank you so much for such a comprehensive and awesome experience. The entire staff is knowledgeable, patient and gentle. Dr. Sohail took her time with me, showed me my Xrays and explained everything in detail. I’ve been going to the dentist for over 30 years and she and her staff were unlike any other. Thanks for taking care of me, and being accommodating even when I was in a rush!

This was the best experience I've had with a doctor in NYC, hands down. Dr. Sohail has phenomenal bedside manner and truly earns her patients' trust. In this saturated market of dentists, she stands out as an expert. She never pushes you into unnecessary procedures, carefully listens to what you want, and tailors her treatment plan to exactly what you need. I walked out of Dr. Sohail's office as a more educated patient and it was the highlight of my long work week!

My first visit was great! Dr. Sohail was extremly friendly and professional. She was very patient with me and my (dentist phobia). She explained every step which made me feel super comfortable and also involved. I would definately recomed her to all my friends.
