"Hi, I'm Dr. Brandon Malan (Dr. Brandon). I love being an orthodontist and making beautiful smiles. I believe everyone deserves to smile with confidence. My goal is to provide personalized care that meets your unique needs and help you achieve the smile you've always dreamed of." Education/Experience Dr. Brandon attended college at Brigham Young University in Provo, UT. After college he attended University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry. He earned his doctoral degree and graduated at the top of his class. After dental school he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency through NYU Lutheran Medical Center. He then went on to specialty training at Loma Linda University where he completed his master's degree and certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. After graduating from residency he worked alongside his dad in Fresno, CA at Malan Orthodontics before deciding to move with plans to live out his dream of establishing his practice along the central coast. He has been serving the Santa Maria community and the surrounding areas since 2019. Dr. Brandon is one of only a few orthodontists on the central coast who is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics. It is a distinction which reflects his commitment to providing the highest quality of care to his patients. Family/Personal Life Orthodontics is fun and inspiring, but Dr. Brandon's greatest passion is spending time with his wife and three children. You may also spot him often hiking one of the local trails or surfing in Pismo.
