With over 27 years of dental expertise, Dr. Ford is a patient-focused dentist who has dedicated his career to restoring oral health and improving smiles. I booked through Zocdoc 4pain in 1 specific tooth, was seen the next day, following approx 47 confirmation emails & texts. Front-desk staff & hygienist were lovely. Dentist was arrogant, dismissive, & somehow completely certain after a VERY limited eval that my crown was cracked & needed a root canal immediately, as in TOMORROW. Conveniently, he booked me with another Gentle Dental provider. Since they don’t offer same-day crowns, I'd then have 2return 2his office, wear a temporary crown for three weeks. An irreversible procedure, multiple offices, & weeks with a temp., all presented as unquestionably necessary. Thankfully, I had a 2nd opinion today. After extensive X-rays, the dentist found NO evidence of a cracked crown, said it was inconclusive whether I needed a root canal at all, & referred me 2an independent endodontist. Imagine gathering sufficient evidence before permanently altering a tooth. Revolutionary. Get a 2nd opinion before your tooth becomes a corporate group project.
