She lives out this philosophy at Oak Hollow Family Dentistry, where she practices evidence-based dentistry and utilizes the latest technology and materials to create and maintain happy, healthy smiles for her patients. Dr. Ciszek interested in the structure and function of the tissues of the oral cavity and craniofacial complex, she then went on to receive her PhD in Oral Biology with an emphasis on Pain Neurobiology at the University of North Carolina. She studied the mechanisms underlying pain conditions such as temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). She next received her Degree of Dental Surgery from the University of North Carolina. Following dental school, she moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to complete a General Practice Residency at the University of Utah. During her time in residency, she was trained in oral conscious sedation, IV sedation, and advanced general dentistry procedures. Since that time, her focus has been on surgical and implant procedures. As a proud Canadian, originally from Ontario, Dr. Ciszek enjoys all things outdoors and spends her free time running, hiking, camping, skiing, and exploring beautiful Utah!
