Dr. Mendigutia has been active in clinical practice for over 17 years; primarily in Miami. He earned his first degree from East Central University in San Pedro Macoris, Dominican Republic in 2000. Subsequently in 2005 he obtained his second degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago, after completing an International Advance Standing Program. Since becoming a dentist he has taken hundreds of hours of continuing education yearly; staying at the forefront of the latest techniques and advancements. Dr. Mendigutia is a graduate of the prestigious Misch Implant Institute, completing a year long implant surgical program. The Misch Implant Institute is recognized as the standard of Advanced Dental Implant Education. In 2008, Dr. Mendigutia was awarded fellowship status from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is currently pursuing Diplomate Status. Today, the doctor takes a special interest in all phases of implant procedures from surgical to prosthetics and enjoys all aspects of general practice. His approach to his craft does not go unnoticed by his patients. His attention to detail is recognized by his peers. Dr. Mendigutia is committed to providing exceptional dental care and to exceed expectations for patient care and treatment outcomes.
