About Dr. Carly Kinzer
Dr. Carly Kinzer founded Mile Square Orthodontics with one goal in mind: to bring high-quality, personalized orthodontic care to the heart of Hoboken. With over a decade of experience, Dr. Kinzer is passionate about creating beautiful, healthy smiles in a space where patients feel genuinely cared for—like family.
She earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from NYU College of Dentistry, where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society. She went on to complete her orthodontic residency and postdoctoral certificate in orthodontics at NYU.
As a board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Kinzer is committed to delivering the highest standard of care using the latest techniques and technologies. She is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the American Dental Association, and has been recognized as one of New Jersey Monthly Magazine’s Top Docs.
A proud Hoboken resident since 2015, Dr. Kinzer lives in the Mile Square City with her husband, Adam, and their two children, Zoe and Cole. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys running along the waterfront and supporting local coffee spots.

I had a great experience at Mile Square and with Dr. Kinzer. I went in for an Invisalign consultation and she was super thorough and easy to talk to. She walked me through my scan and explained what was going on with my teeth, what my treatment options were, and what kind of results I could expect. I never felt rushed and she answered all of my questions in a clear, honest way.
The whole process was super smooth. The digital scanning was quick and actually pretty cool to see. The office is clean, modern, and a lot of fun! Her staff was also very friendly and welcoming, which made the visit even better.
If you’re considering Invisalign or just want an orthodontist who takes the time to explain everything, I’d definitely recommend Mile Square!

Deciding to get Invisalign at 37 years old after having braces for 6 years as a child was not an easy decision. But Dr. Kinzer’s confidence and positive demeanor made the whole experience so much better than had anticipated. Dr. Kinzer made herself available to answer any concerns I had and I truly felt like she invested in me and the smile I wanted to leave with. Thank you Dr. Kinzer for taking such good care of me and for never making me feel rushed or that any of my questions were too much. I feel so good to recommend friends and family to see Dr. Kinzer because I know she will take such good care of them.
