About Dr. Carmen Blunt
Dr. Carmen received her doctorate in dentistry from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Blunt enjoys all procedures in dentistry, but her favorite thing is creating aesthetic smile transformation with the patient’s overall goal in mind. She works with people of all ages and always goes above and beyond to assure every patient is comfortable and free from pain during treatments.
Dr. Carmen enjoys learning the latest advances in the field of general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry to ensure she is providing the best possible care that she can to her patients and meeting patient satisfaction with every aspect of their dental experience. Her philosophy is simple; She is committed to providing her patient with a positive experience and excellent treatment while treating patients like family which creates lifelong relationships.
Dr. Carmen has several passions outside of dentistry, including community service, traveling, outdoor activities, yoga and fitness/wellness. In her free time, she loves spending time doing those things with her husband and three boys.

My appointment with Dr. Blunt was excellent. The office has an attractive spa aesthetic that was very calming. The staff were all thorough and knowledgeable professionals who answered all my questions and presented me with the treatment plan before my cleaning. The cleaning was performed efficiently. Everyone was very accommodating. I’m very insecure about my teeth and everyone was understanding and met me where I was. At first I was holding back but Dr Blunt was very compassionate and I was able to be honest about my concerns over my teeth. Office staff also worked with me over financing and plan for future. Probably the only time in my adult life I didn’t feel belittled or shamed after a dentist visit 10/10. They really care

Oh. My. GOODNESS! I will NEVER go back to another place as long as I live. Dr. Blunt was patient, kind, gentle, funny, and most of all COMMUNICATIVE.
I've never liked the dentist; I'm terrified of every bit of it. Every dentist I've been to they've never told me what's wrong, what they plan to do, never asked if I was okay throughout the appointment, and offered no good advice other than what you should already know.
Not only did Dr. Blunt explain to me what's wrong with my dental routine, she SHOWED me how I can improve it, kept asking if was okay, extremely patient when I showed discomfort, and even planned to do everything I asked in the SAME DAY! She SHOWED me my charts too!
I was so in shock by how kind and hospitable she was. It felt like I had been going here for YEARS. I could also tell how authentic she is by how she treated her staff (who were also extremely kind too).
I can't wait to go back, and if you've been thinking about booking an appointment, DO IT!

Originally, I chose this location and dentist due to the after 5:00pm appointment time on a Friday evening. This quaint office is located in older section of Fort Worth that is being revitalized. As you enter the office, it appears more like a beautiful cozy spa waiting room than a dentist office. There is not a receptionist or check in area, but the staff is highly aware of your presence due to the cameras in the waiting area. The whole staff is super friendly and professional, and the dentist, Carmen Blunt is personable, knowledgeable & truly seems to care about her patient's needs, wants, cost & ability to stay within a budget if needed. As a new patient, I received an electric toothbrush and a portable water flosser. The Smile Muse Spa creates a warm, inviting & professional atmosphere with genuine happiness coming from the staff. I look forward to their continued presence & success in Fort Worth.

Very professional and skilled, top to bottom. Cannot recommend them more highly. Dr. Carmen is so thorough and informative, and lets you know every step of the way what’s going on so there are no surprises. Very calming, as well. Highly recommend! I have LOTS of anxiety about going to the dentist. After this visit, I have become an advocate. Dr. Carmen and Melissa (hygienist) were amazing. They made me feel comfortable and I believe the treatment plan is actionable and has my best interest in mind.

Smile Muse Spa was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Dr. Carmen Blunt was very knowledgeable and delivered the quality dental care I needed. Melissa was patient and an active listener. I definitely felt the spa vibes as soon as I walked in the office. I love the aesthetics and atmosphere. There is really no other dental office I'd rather be at.

My visit with Dr. Carmen at Smile Muse Spa was amazing. Her and her assistant (Melissa) were very friendly and professional. They listened to me regarding my dental concerns and provided excellent care, I was amazed that after my deep cleaning I didn’t experienced any pain just gum tenderness. Also I loved the uniqueness of her office, the Spa vibes and amenities especially the aroma, the waterfall and massage. I will definitely be back and I recommend others to come as well, you won’t regret it.

Dr. Blunt saw me on a Saturday and reattached a missing crown. She recommended further work to prevent another crown failure. She was friendly and seemed knowledgeable. The only negative was that her office does not file on your insurance.

My visit with Dr. Carmen and her assistant (Melissa) was amazing. They were very professional. They listened to me in meeting all my dental needs. I felt very relaxed with all their spa amenities such as waterfall, blinders, blanket to keep me warm and a massage while I received my treatment. What a wonderful experience which took my mind off the deep cleaning dental care I had to have. Which by the way I had no pain afterwards only tenderness. I will definitely be returning.
