About Dr. Cecilia Simmons
Dr. Cecilia Simmons attended Xavier University of Louisiana, where she received her undergraduate degree in Biology. She then attended Baylor College of Dentistry, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. Dr. Simmons is licensed to practice dentistry in both Texas and Louisiana. She has taken countless hours of continuing education in all aspects of cosmetic dentistry, as well as Invisalign orthodontics, to stay up to date with the latest techniques and technologies in dentistry today.
Dr. Simmons is a Dallas native and enjoys spending time with her family. She also enjoys reading and traveling. Although Dr. Simmons works with patients of all ages, she really loves working with children!

Absolutely adored this dental office! I have bad anxiety regarding dental work due to my past experiences but I think this office might’ve completely cured it! From the moment I walked in the doors to me leaving, EVERY single staff member treated me amazingly & was highly communicative and fast! My visit was like going to my aunt's house for Sunday dinner. I was comfortable the doctor and assistants were very friendly. I told them about my fear of the doctor, and they made me even more comfortable. They broke down my treatment plan and payments and then insured me with a prevention plan. I loved the experience and will continue to go.

Dr Simmons and her staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. I did however wait 45 minutes to be seen, which they stated they were short staffed. The wait didn’t bother me, but I left feeling bummed out as I had really high expectations. Dr Simmons initially introduced herself with great bedside manner before her staff performed x-rays and she stepped out. Upon her return, without asking any further questions about me for background (including my anxiety with the dentist) she starting saying that I had “an extensive number of fillings”. While this is the case, I grew up very poor and didn’t always have the best dental hygiene education or resources. Instead of asking questions to understand, or recognize that I have worked VERY hard as an adult to take care of my teeth. She recommended a procedure and was informative about it but my experience left me not feeling comfortable enough to return. I don’t think that was her intention, but I felt judged about my previous oral health.
