About Dr. Chad Wagstaff
Dr. Chad Wagstaff was born in Brigham and raised in Perry. He attended Perry Elementary and Box Elder Jr. High and High School before completing his undergraduate education at Utah State University as a music major in piano performance. After finishing his undergraduate prerequisites at USU, Dr. Wagstaff attended Northwestern University Dental School, where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2000. Following graduation, he lived in the western suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, for over 13 years, owning and operating a private dental practice. In the spring of 2014, he moved to Ogden Valley and took over ownership of Zimbi Dental.
Dr. Wagstaff was married for 15 years to his high school sweetheart, Shawna Nelson, with whom he had three children before Shawna passed away from cancer in 2010. In 2013, he married his lovely wife Maria Santana in the Brigham City Temple. Together, they now have seven children.
He served an LDS mission in Argentina, is fluent in Spanish, and is an accomplished pianist. Dr. Wagstaff enjoys woodworking, photography, model railroading, fly fishing, camping, backpacking, canoeing, skiing, and playing the bassoon, among other hobbies. His most recent woodworking project was building a wood strip canoe, which he now enjoys using on Pineview Reservoir.

Everyone was very nice and kind. I wasn’t feeling well after my appointment and the office staff gave me water,crips and offered to drive me home. They were all professional and lovely.
