“It was amazing ! Im not one to go to the dentist until its too late, but if I found this place earlier I might actually willingly do my checkups every 6 months. From the front desk to every other staff i encountered(sorry, don't know the official titles of positions. Some told me but i cant spell)to meeting the dentist, everyone was super helpful, kind and informative.”

About Dr. Christina Lam
Born and raised in Queens, NY , Dr. Christina Lam is a general and family dentist practicing at Avalon Dental, PC in Bayside, Queens. Dr. Lam then went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery at NYU College of Dentistry. She then did her post-graduate residency at Flushing Hospital Medical Center. After her post-graduate training, she entered private practice in Manhattan, Brooklyn & Queens area where she treats patients of all ages.
Dr. Lam is also an avid snowboarder and nature lover. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, and volunteering locally at the Red Cross and Veterans of NYU on their medical services team.

Love Dr Lam! She was so nice and very thorough in explaining everything to me in a way that was easy to digest. She gave me options for care and made me feel accepted and welcome. Very good experience. Dr. Lam and all the team were all so nice. They explained everything and made me feel very comfortable. I personally hate the dentist due to my teeth being both sensitive and having a terrible gag reflex. However, they worked very well with me and made me feel comfortable to get through everything and it didn’t take too long which was nice. I am planning on continuing my work with Dr. Lam and everyone as she fully explained everything to me and truly made me comprehend my situation and understand her Plan of care for me. I would highly recommend Dr. Lam to anyone.

Dr.Lam is AMAZING! I was so nervous for my first appt but Dr.Lam and the whole staff made me feel super comfortable. The staff is wonderful and did everything well, from paper work to X-rays and everything in between. Dr.Lam explained everything from procedures I might need or want to look into, to our next steps for future visits and made all information about my dental work simple so I could understand in the best way possible.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Lam! She made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed throughout my visit. She carefully examined my X-rays and took the time to sit down with me to explain the best options for my dental care. What I appreciated most was that she truly listened to my concerns and addressed them thoughtfully.
Dr. Lam works quickly yet very effectively, and I hardly felt any pain during the procedure, which was a huge relief. I’m so happy to have found such a skilled and compassionate dentist.
The office staff is also amazing—they are friendly, professional, and incredibly organized, ensuring each patient gets personalized attention. I highly recommend Dr. Lam and her team to anyone looking for exceptional dental care!
