The attractive, Craftsmen style blends well with the historic neighborhood, which is exactly what Dr. Grant had in mind when she created The Hyde Park Center For Aesthetic Dentistry. "I want my patients to feel completely relaxed and taken care of like they were in someone's home," says Dr. Grant, who blends aesthetic and general dentistry to provide a holistic and comprehensive approach for people of all ages, from children to adults. "Patients want to look and feel their best and I can help them," says Dr. Grant. "I've seen wonderful transformations take place. Patients who might have been shy and reserved grow more confident and self-assured after their smile has been transformed. Cosmetic dentistry offers both physical and psychological benefits. It allows anyone to start over and reinvent themselves." Dr. Grant grew up in Sarasota and showed an early interest in art, studying classical piano and taking classes at the renowned Ringling Museum of Art, even though by third grade she knew she wanted to be a dentist. Today, her practice combines the best of both worlds - the science of high-tech dentistry with the art of creating a beautiful smile. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Florida and then went on for further training at Baylor College of Dentistry in Texas, where she received a Certificate in Advanced Aesthetic General Dentistry. She is a member of the prestigious American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. One of the unique aspects of Dr. Grant's practice is her attention to detail. Patients make reservations, not appointments, and they receive blankets, neck and back pillows and lip balm for added comfort.
