“Absolutely amazing experience. Firstly, the office looks new and so comfy and homelike. The wait was a bit long but there is Netflix in the lobby to entertain you and they have bottled water and coffee for you. Once I was in the back, the dental assistant (I believe that’s her title) Amber was so personable and sweet. She eased my fears. The dental chairs massage you and you’ve got an individual tv to browse Netflix while you wait for your dentist to come in. Amber made sure I didn’t feel forgotten as well! The initial appointment was very thorough and they suggested I return Wednesday.
That Wednesday I came in to have my wisdom teeth removed. Amber and Dr. Gudger were again very great about making me feel comfortable with a cozy blanket and space heater. He went ahead and did my fillings along with the wisdom teeth removal. What was going to be 2 hours ended up being 5.5 hours because he was so thorough about helping me and saving my teeth that were in such bad shape. Fantastic job. Barely any swelling at all. And I’m so happy he cared enough not to rush the job. My teeth already feel pain free and the sensitivity is nearly completely gone. I’ll be going there as long as they’ll have me!”

Dr. Chris Gudger, a second-generation dentist, has been practicing dentistry for nearly 20 years. He earned his doctorate from the UNC-CH Adams School of Dentistry, and each year, he furthers his education by studying advanced dentistry with the nation’s top clinicians. Included in his studies are specialized courses in dental implants, sedation dentistry, and cosmetic dentistry. The minimum continuing education requirement for dentists in NC is 15 hours and Dr. Gudger averages over 100 every year. Lifetime Family Dental even creates their own aligners in house which allows cost savings to patients and are of equal quality to brand name like "Invisalign®". Even more important than his education or his clinical skills, he’s dedicated to providing personalized treatment to make each patient feel like part of our family.

Dr. Chris Gudger’s office is one of the few offices around which can make in-house same-day esthetic zirconia crowns which are the strongest on the market today. The office also has 3-D imaging for the most precise restorations, IV or nitrous sedation for nervous patients, and complete care in one location.
Our Sprint Ray Printer has the ability to fabricate high quality night guards and surgical guides in house. All of our implants are placed using surgical guides which leads to higher quality dental implant placements.
