Dr. Higgins attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery and was awarded the Endodontic Excellence Award by the New York State Association of Endodontists. He continued his specialty education at Columbia University, receiving his Advanced Specialty Certificate in Endodontics. Dr. Higgins remains committed to staying up to date with the latest advancements in dentistry and maintains a national presence as a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the New York State Association of Endodontists. Dr. Higgins specializes is in non-surgical root canal therapy, non-surgical retreatment, endodontic microsurgery (apicoectomy), and the management of traumatic dental injuries. He is also experienced in regeneration, apexification and internal bleaching procedures. Dr. Higgins takes pride in fostering quality patient experiences by combining skilled training with compassionate care. Originally from Miami, FL, Dr. Higgins enjoys spending time at the beach, routing for his Miami Heat/Dolphins sports teams, and exploring restaurants in New York City.

Dr. Higgins was so nice. I was in a lotof pain and needed a Root Canal. The Doctor made me feel so much better. I see Dr Kaoftheil next for my crown. ToothDocs is the best!

Was referred for a Root Canal and when I met Doctor Higgins he advised I wait because he thought my pain would likely subside. He was right! Thanks to his honesty I did not need a Root Canal!
