Dr. Daleisy Perez Mendez grew up in Sancti Spiritus, Cuba, a town right in the middle of the island. When she was 8 years old, her parents moved to Havana, Cuba looking for a better future. She started dental school in Cuba at the age of 18, but 3 years later, she decided to travel to the United Stated to pursue her dreams in this beautiful country. She earned her DMD at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Perez Mendez entered the dental field because dentists played an essential role during her childhood. Also, her aunt is a dentist, her mom works in public health, grandma was a nurse, and she always wanted to be a doctor too. She loves to transform people's lives, boost her patients' confidence, and make lifelong relationships. Her favorite aspect of dentistry is surgery and create beautiful smiles. Outside of the office, Dr. Perez Mendez enjoys the beach, biking, spend time with family and friends, and she loves music and dancing.
