About Dr. Daniel Matthews

Dr. Daniel Matthews had a childhood home in Vienna, Virginia, but he also lived internationally being from a diplomat family. Growing up he was fortunate to be able to experience countries like Australia, China, Pakistan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and Taiwan. He then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2014 at the University of Maryland in Baltimore where he met his wife who is also a dentist. Dr. Matthews is always learning as much as he can to expand his skills and enjoys going to dental conferences and courses. Dr. Matthews has focused a lot of his postgraduate training towards cosmetic and implant dentistry. He takes great pride in using the latest technology to produce high quality dentistry all while keeping the patient as comfortable as possible. His favorite thing in dentistry is taking someone who is afraid or unable to smile and helping them smile again. Dr. Matthews lives in Herndon with his wife and two children. He likes to spend his free time doing active things like running, biking and snowboarding.
