Dr. Martinez is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and has done extensive research in orthodontics, restorative, and cosmetic dentistry. In 2020, her research was published in the Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Dental Society of Western Pennsylvania. Dr. Martinez has volunteered her time and skills to Give Kids a Smile, providing much needed preventive and restorative dental care to underserved children in the greater Miami area. She participated in Miami Community health fairs educating the less fortunate on the importance and health benefits of maintaining proper oral hygiene. Dr. Martinez assisted with organizing Oral Cancer Awareness 5k walks in Ft. Lauderdale, performing free cancer screenings to interested participants. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. During her free time, Dr. Martinez enjoys sports, traveling and spending time with family and friends. She is also a CrossFit regionals team qualifier for professional speed skating and running.
