About Dr. Darya Barshak
Dr. Barshak earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. To provide her clients with state-of-the-art multi-disciplinary treatments, she pursued extensive training via internationally renowned implant coursework and two residency programs — Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Maryland and General Practice Residency at Bellevue Hospital Center of Manhattan. Dr. Barshak has a background in scientific research and keeps up with advancements in dental biotechnology. She is passionate about modern preventative, restorative, esthetic, and surgical solutions for her clients’ unique needs.
Outside of creating confident and healthy smiles, Dr. Barshak enjoys nature retreats, learning about cultures, as well as contemporary and classical art, film, and literature.

I booked my original appointment with a different doctor. A day before my appointment I get a notification that its gonna be some other doctor. They assured me that this doctor is professional. I had a pretty simple procedure- to put a crown back on an implant abatement. It was there for 23 years. She insisted on the xray which I had with me. The argument was “what if its not yours?” Seriously? Why would I? Then she put it back in a wrong way and started taking the top off by drilling. It was not getting better much so she just left to another patient. When I complained to her assistant, the lady said that everything was done correct and it was probably gravitation of my upper teeth and thats why its uncomfortable.,
The doctor came back to me after 15 min and started speaking russian. Why? I do speak it but its highly unprofessional. She was pretty rude as well. She took off all the porcelain of the crown and Now it looks like an old amalgam feeling and basically I need a new crown.
