About Dr. David Chen
Dr. David Chen received his D.M.D. at the University of British Columbia. He completed his Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut. He then completed two specialty programs at the University of Maryland and is one of the few dual specialists in both Periodontics and Prosthodontics in North America.
Dr. Chen resides in Queens with his partner, two cats, and many plants. He enjoys fitness of the body and mind, from weight lifting and springboard diving to yoga and meditation. His treatment philosophy is treating patients like his family. Fun Fact: He is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

I was extremely impressed with the level of care and professionalism provided by Dr. Chen and his staff. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and Dr. Chen took the time to thoroughly explain the treatment plan and answer any questions I had. The billing division took the initiative to reach out to my insurance company to ensure my services were covered. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend this practice to others in need of periodontal or generic dental treatment.

Good experience. The doctor understood some of my medical challenges and made sure that treatment was still possible. I was happy that he took the time to call my medical doctor and coordinate my care. I also see the hygienist here.
