About Dr. David Hamm

As a highly educated and skilled orthodontist, Dr. David Hamm is excited to change lives, one smile at a time, with the rest of the Orthodontic Experts community. He was born and raised in the central Wisconsin area. As an adolescent child, he began noticing difficulties from the positioning of his teeth. He not only suffered from severe crowding and a cross-bite, making it difficult to chew food, but he also grew extremely self-conscious. So, he ended up beginning orthodontic treatment. The result positively changed his life – he felt better about his appearance and, thus, himself, but even more, he was finally able to eat properly. It was then that Dr. David Hamm knew he was destined “to change people’s lives – one smile at a time.” Accustomed to Wisconsin, Dr. Hamm began his journey through higher education at Marquette University, where he earned both his Bachelor of Science in Physiological Sciences and his Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. However, he then ventured to New York where he earned his certificate in General Practice Residency for general dentistry; he attended the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After that, he moved back to the greater Milwaukee area. For one year, he worked part-time as a general dentist while he simultaneously taught Dentistry at Marquette University. However, his true passion was always orthodontia. Therefore, he moved out to Lincoln, Nebraska. There, he obtained his certificate in Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopedics and his Master of Science in Oral Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Now, Dr. David Hamm has officially moved back to the Wisconsin area and has officially joined the Orthodontic Experts team! When Dr. David Hamm is not positively changing patient’s lives, he can usually be found working on two different projects: interior design and home improvement projects for his new home or aesthetically pleasing, and off-road performance, skills for his Jeep Wrangler.
