About Dr. David Toksoy
Receiving his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors from Boston University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Toksoy has continued his education vigorously to provide the best dental care available to his patients. He completed externships in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Harvard University, Tufts University, and the University of California, Los Angeles, further enhancing his clinical expertise. Dr. Toksoy is a part-time faculty member and clinical instructor at New York University's Department of Esthetic Dentistry, alongside providing treatment for his private patients.
Inspired and mentored by the pioneers of biomimetic esthetic and implant dentistry, Dr. Toksoy customizes smile designs for every patient, aiming to minimally prepare or avoid preparing teeth whenever possible. This approach prevents unnecessary harm to healthy teeth, reflecting his motto, “First, to do no harm,” while transforming smiles to help patients regain confidence with a natural appearance.
Beyond his dedication to dentistry, Dr. Toksoy is a passionate actor and an enthusiast of history, philosophy, and fine arts. As a member of the Carnegie Council for Ethics, he strongly advocates for ethics and morality, drawing inspiration from the Renaissance and Enlightenment eras. He frequently travels back to Europe to visit family and explore its rich history and artwork.
