About Dr. David Vela
Welcome to our family at All Smiles Dental Center. I am excited to meet and get to know each and every patient who comes through our office. Since I was a child, I always knew I wanted to do something in the healthcare profession. As I explored my options, I gravitated directly toward dentistry. I truly feel blessed to be able to go to work every day and do something I love. Perhaps my favorite part about dentistry is being able to form personal relationships with patients and interact with them regularly.
Originally from Corpus Christi, Texas, I completed my dental education with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Dental School. In my opinion, regardless of what you choose as a profession, you can never stop learning. To keep up to date with the newest technology, products, and ideas, I frequently attend continuing dental education courses. Recently, I have completed over 200 hours of continuing education, including implant surgery and restoration, Invisalign, and 6 Month Smiles. This ensures I can continue to provide only the highest level of care for you and your families.
Outside of dentistry, family is the biggest part of my life. I have a wonderful wife, Stephanie, whom you will surely get to know at our practice as our hygienist. I enjoy doing almost anything outdoors, including all sports, golfing, and hunting. I cannot wait for the opportunity to form a new friendship with you and hope you will allow me to help you maintain a functional and beautiful smile!
