Dr. Bailey was born on the beautiful island of Trinidad & Tobago in the Caribbean and spent many of her formative years in Ottawa, Canada. Her positive experience as a patient, having worn braces as a teenager, sparked her passion for dentistry and shaped her dream to become an orthodontist. Dr. Bailey earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry in Washington, DC. She has been practicing as an orthodontist in various communities throughout Virginia ever since. Dedicated to serving her community, Dr. Bailey opened Bailey Orthodontics with a vision to incorporate community service into her work. Her diverse background and exposure to many cultures have influenced her goals for practice ownership. She values education deeply and has a long-standing commitment to helping children gain the tools they need to succeed. Dr. Bailey looks forward to sharing this vision with her patients and involving them in her pursuits. In her free time, Dr. Bailey enjoys exploring our nation's capital with her family and loves participating in the many cultural and seasonal events the area offers. Travel, cooking, hiking, and staying current with continuing education in orthodontics are among her other favorite pastimes.
