Dr. Tan attended dental school at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Honor Society in Dentistry, based on academic achievement. Following dental school, Dr. Tan completed a General Practice Residency at the Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, where she provided comprehensive dental care to veterans and gained experience in the treatment of medically complex patients, as well as experience with hospital dentistry. After residency, Dr. Tan continued working in Ann Arbor as a general dentist. Dr. Tan is excited to continue serving patients in the community and looks forward to caring for patients at Simply Dentistry.
Dr. Tan is a member of the American Dental Association, Michigan Dental Association, and Washtenaw District Dental Society. She is passionate about learning and participates in
continuing education courses in order to stay updated on the latest advancements in dentistry.
In her spare time, Dr. Tan enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys
traveling and cooking and especially loves weekends in northern Michigan on the lake with her family.

Dr. Tan was professional, gentle, and explained everything she was doing when she did my oral exam after my teeth cleaning. Dr. Tan has performed my annual dental exams for the l last 5 years. She understands my anxiety with doctors and has done a great job reassuring me and helping me regulate. My teeth look great and I am so thankful for Dr. Dayna Tan!
