About Dr. Denis Peper
Dr. Peper's genuine joy and satisfaction in meeting and treating patients shines through in his work. He thrives on daily personal interactions with patients while applying both his engineering and artistic talents in dentistry.
A compassionate and thorough approach to treatment led him to establish his own successful dental practice in Arlington, Virginia, where he practiced for 22 years. He has been performing state-of-the-art dentistry for nearly 30 years. Dr. Peper earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. In 2011, he joined Dr. Longman's practice, drawn by the warm family environment Dr. Longman has created for both staff and patients at Alexandria Old Town Dental.
A strong advocate for attention to detail and mindful care, Dr. Peper has extensive experience in numerous specialties, including endodontics, oral and periodontal surgeries, and orthodontics such as Invisalign?. As an artist, his primary specialty is cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Peper grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona, and Lynchburg, Virginia. He has fond memories of playing baseball as a child and grew up across the street from Jim Palmer. His All-State high school baseball recognition earned him a baseball scholarship to the University of Virginia, where his passion for science ultimately led him to a career in dentistry.
He currently resides in Alexandria and enjoys spending time with his 10-year-old daughter. An avid golfer and boating and fishing enthusiast, Dr. Peper has a deep love for the outdoors.

The office was blindsided by my arrival. One staff member remembered logging my appointment. However, their system swallowed my information and appointment. They worked studiously to fit me in, however my issue was not resolved, just postponed for a later appointment.

I've been a patient of Dr. Peper's since 2014 and have been very pleased with the services received at Old Town Dental. It is an excellent general dental practice. All of the dentists and staff are very professional and accommodating to the needs of the patient. I recently had dental pain that required an urgent appointment. The practice got me in quickly, made a preliminary diagnosis and wrote an immediate referral for an endodontist. I highly recommend this practice and especially Dr. Peper.

love that i found this office. check in as a new patient was fast, and i was seen less than 10 minutes after i finished. the front desk staff is very nice and i was able to easily schedule my next appointments. they explained potential costs as well. T the hygienist was so gentle and friendly, also explaining each step and suggesting products that will help me. Dr. Peper also was gentle and friendly. he answered all of my questions and was not pushy with treatment options. what i really liked was how he explained my x-rays, and what he was looking for during the exam. definitely will be recommending this office to those looking for a new dentist!

It went very well. I scheduled an appointment for myself and daughter. Our appointments were 30 minutes apart, mine being first. I waited less than 10 minutes for my appointment and my daughter went in at her appt time. We both went in for a routine visit/cleaning and I thought it went pretty good. The person cleaning my teeth was very professional and explained everything he was doing and how my teeth were doing. Gave suggestions on how to better take care of my teeth. Mr. Peper was very nice and professional. Didn't seem rushed. Overall a good experience. It was our first time there and are making Dr. Peper our permanent dentist.

Dr. Peper did a root canal on a tooth for me and unlike what I expected it was painless. He explained everything up front and after the tooth was numb I felt nothing. I have great confidence in Dr. Peper and would highly recommend him. In fact - I have. My 90 year great grandmother was in pain and Dr. Peper was able to fit her in ASAP. Turned out she needed an extraction - she felt nothing! Our family trusts in Dr. Peper!! Thank you!

Dr. Peper is an artist I needed crowns on my first tooth but couldn't afford them, so Dr. Peper did bonded filling and they are perfect! They look exactly like my natural teeth and saved me so much money. He was recommended to me highly and I'm glad I went :)

Even though Dr. Peper does all the extraction for all the dentist there I was still very nervous. I had a bad infected wisdom tooth that was painfulled I was scared. Dr. Peper was very calming got me very much numb and did a great job removing my tooth. I could not have been more pleased and could recommend him highly.
