First time here and was awesome. I arrived , signed paper work and right after I was done they took me back. They took 5 minutes to check my teeth and I waited 3 minutes before the doctor came in and she was clear. They were able to schedule a follow up appointment in a short manner. There was a lot of people there too yet they were fast and the communication and friendliness was awesome. Highly highly recommend!

My overall experience was very good. The hygienist was great! She was very knowledgable, made a number of recommendations, had great bedside manner, and didn't try to push a bunch of dental products. Dr. Markogiannakis seems very knowledgable but also very busy. I left with a very extensive treatment plan but didn't ask all the right questions - it's on me to follow up but I wish I had more time with the dentist during my visit.

My dentist retired and so I used Zocdoc to find a new one. Basically to summarize my first appointment, it was like going from a flip-phone to a smart phone! Dr. "Marko" is up to date on the latest equipment and preventive and care strategies. I knew there were some issues with a few of my teeth and she not only identified them but explained what caused them (who knew clenching makes cracks). The X-ray and photographs of EACH tooth that were shared made the fact that while I will need quite a lot of follow up (I hadn't been to the dentist in 3 years) it will ensure that I don't have future problems and I could SEE and understand WHY it is necessary.

Perfect service from the hygienist and Dentist. Very friendly, warm, and competent. However, for the front office staff, they didn’t correctly check my insurance coverage and had me pay out of pocket for items that were supposedly covered. Now, I have to go through the hassle of reimbursing money from them which could’ve been avoided by a simple phone call by the receptionist to my insurance company prior to my cleaning.

Efficient, forthright and clearly invested in patient care and wellbeing as well as taking proactive steps to support long-term dental health. The doctor's services are expensive, but standard for the area and level of service.
I received a much more comprehensive diagnosis of my current dental concerns than from my previous dentist. As a result, I feel much more confident in my ability to avoid serious issues developing in the future.

She was amazing! The visit was wonderful from start to finish. I get a little bit of anxiety when it comes to cleanings and the hygienist was kind and reassuring throughout. Dr Marko Is an exceptional dentist . She took a major problem and stepped into role as quarterback of my care coordinating with multiple specialists, while explaining things to me (with cost estimates) every step of the way. I'm sure she's great with routine care too but it's so reassuring that she handles crises so well!

This was my first visit in this office and Dr. Marko and her dental staff were great! The dental hygienist who did my cleaning was super friendly and nice, and Dr. Marko was able to answer all my questions about caring for my teeth and gave great recommendations on home care. She was also able to schedule a same day appointment to get my fillings done after the cleaning, and I really appreciated her attention to detail and working with my schedule! The only thing I wish went a little bit better was my discussion about my dental insurance- their office didn't seem super informed about my questions related to the patient portion I was responsible for paying, and they were not able to fully answer my questions. I did not leave fully comfortable with what I was being charged for in terms of my visits, mainly because they didn't seem to know the answers to my questions. Other than that- the dental service itself was great!

First visit Needed to find a family dentist since we moved back to the area. Dr. Marko certainly had lots of PR via the Washingtonian and other Top Dentist accolades. I can vouch that they're well earned. She saw my 7 y/o son. Her staff was attentive, kind, and competent. Dr. Marko was clear, appropriately directive, and competent. She and her staff earned my trust immediately. The rest of the family will follow suit with appointments.

In addition, I was able to complete forms in advance, so it expedited the process even more -- very respectful of the patient's time.
