“It was my best experience at a dental office..Staffs were super helpful and courteous. Dr. Nekkanti was very clear and concise and she took her time to make sure I understood everything and I didn't leave her office without her answering all my questions and concerns. I honestly find a family doctor that I am comfortable with and would recommend her to anyone that is seeking a dentist who knows her job and is professional, informative, courteous and hospitable. She ensure her clients are comfortable and have all the necessary information about the services they are doing. I had an appointment with my son and i and my husband accompanied us. He was super impressed about the services offered so he made an appointment. I refuse to go anywhere else as I find a Dental family home. ??

About Dr. Devisree Nekkanti
Dr. Devisree Nekkanti earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, School of Dental Medicine, where she was honored by being on the Dean's List. Prior to dental school, she completed a fellowship in Orofacial Pain and TMJ Disorders, mainly focusing on patients suffering from neuropathic pain and temporomandibular joint problems. During this period, she was awarded the prestigious BALBO award for presenting her research paper at the annual exposition at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. In addition to the honors bestowed upon her, Dr. Nekkanti is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Texas Dental Association. Dr. Nekkanti prides herself on helping patients feel and look their best by providing the finest dental care. Whether a routine dental visit or a cosmetic procedure, she treats each patient with individual attention to achieve great-looking and long-lasting results. Most importantly, Dr. Nekkanti enjoys time with her family, cooking, gardening, and reading books.

I needed an In network dentist that takes my insurance that could get me in quick for a toothache. Dr. Nekkanti fit the bill and was close to where I live. She was able to get me in for an appt. next day. The office is new and they are in the middle of transitioning, so it was very quiet and clean. The employees were very kind and respectful when listening to my complaints of previous dental nightmares. After x-rays and examination she verified what I suspected about a tooth and she took care of it then and there. She also went through my insurance coverage with me for treatment plans and gave me options for any out of pocket expenses. I will continue to go to her for dental treatments and hopefully finally find my dental soul mate.

I would not recommend Devisree because she was never professional and straight-forward. My appointment was cancelled twice and I had to drive 40mins and return back without service provided. My initial appointment was a bitter experience where the dentist kept talking without beginning the annual cleaning. When asked, she said that they were all tired and I had to be rescheduled. She said it was a long day were almost toward the end of day. She never informed me this while I waiting in the lobby but she cleverly told this after my useless x-rays were taken and I was charged! So I had to show up after a few months as the first patient few days ago. She later asked me to wait 60mins since the office did not have water. The receptionist knew there was no water and they were not prepared on a weekday!! So I didn’t even bother to argue or cancel my appointment , I just left! I would never recommend this dentist!

I have a fear of dental work and dentists, but she was so gentle and kind that I wasn’t anxious at all. She’s amazing at explaining procedures and offered me a blanket and headphones for my root canal. Her staff is just as wonderful, and I really appreciate her willingness to accommodate me. I recommend this dentist to everyone, especially those who might be a little more nervous for their appointments. Thank you to everyone at AK Dental!

Right from entering the office, I was greeted right away. Friendly receptionist. The dental assistants were also friendly and very nice. The doctor herself was great. Asked if I had any questions or concerns and went over procedures/appointments with me. They were on top of reaching out to make sure I was keeping an appointment and very quick to send the needed paperwork. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at AK Dental.
